Yvonne Fumiko Mizuta was born in Honolulu, Hawaii’. After graduating from Saint Andrews Priory High School, Yvonne attended the University of Denver, Colorado for two years. She then transferred to New York University where she graduated receiving a B. A. in Journalism. Her postgraduate studies led her to the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine were she obtained a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine in both Acupuncture and Herbs.
Yvonne has studied Tai-Chi and Qigong in addition to Classical and Modern Dance, Tap and Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art form in New York City as well as in Bahia, Brazil.
